Square Foot Garden Update

So, it's been a good six weeks since I seeded my square foot garden.  So far I am nothing but disappointed with the results!  I don't think it has much to do with the gardening method, but more to do with our early summer weather and drought we experienced.
Very few seeds germinated, even with watering.  Now that we are receiving some rain I see a few more plants popping up, but they are growing so late and I'm not sure if they will produce much by the end of the season.
I seem to be having the best luck with my tomatoes, beans, peas and cucumber plants.  The lettuce, carrots, radishes, herbs and many flowers are super sparse, if showing at all.  Sad times!
Ari is still my eager helper, no matter what is or isn't growing!  He is most excited about the pumpkin plant that sprouted and is growing well!

More updates to follow throughout the summer!
