My shady garden suffered the most from our dry winter last year...quite a few perennials did not make it in the spring. Being a little thrifty I decided to hold out for the end-of-summer plant sales and picked up a few gems at the garden center today:
Sedum
Sweet Woodruff
'Midnight Rose' Coral Bells
I also picked up another white bleeding heart and a hosta. Most of the holes are now filled and everything was given a good water. *Crossing* my fingers that next spring will have better luck!
