This weekend I tried out this recipe from Changing my Destiny blog for crockpot apple butter as part of my fall bucket list.
I used apples from my backyard and, my oh my, it turned out delicious! My batch turned out darker than the photo above (from the recipe), but so so good. Think hot apple cider in a spread! Perfect for bread, muffins, dipping, or just eating with a spoon :)
