A Tea Towel Calendar DIY

Yes, it's February.  But, I only recently discovered these sweet little DIY sewing projects through Spoonflower.  They have so many pretty tea towel designs that you can order printed on a fat quarter of linen cotton canvas (or, you can upload your own design!) and quickly sew up yourself.  I even learned how to sew mitered corners to make my hem job look less amateur.  I watched this video tutorial from Purl Soho to make my corners.

I am in love with the Spoonflower designs from This Little Street (I shared her printable 2017 calendar here) and just adore this charming tea towel calendar design called Take the Road Less Travelled.  It's so pretty that I feel I need to hang it on the wall somewhere, not just on my stove!

I have two other sewing projects that I ordered through Spoonflower that I am excited to make and share once they are finished.  I love all of the inspiration and fun ideas that can be found there!
