Spring in the Garden

 

It feels like gardening season is finally here.  My perennials are up and growing by the day, leaves are unfurling on the bare trees and weeds are sprouting up everywhere.  Ari and I spent our Saturday pulling monstrous dandelions out of the garden and discovering a few plants in bloom: tulips, phlox and pansies.  He *may* have picked a few more flowers than I cared for, but I love his enthusiasm for discovery in the backyard!
