Getting Ready for Baby 2

At first I was thinking that I wouldn't need to buy much at all for the second baby, seeing as I purchased all gender neutral things for Ari.  As I get closer to my due date (three more months!) I am beginning to find that I do want some new things for this baby!  It isn't fair if Ari is the only one to get new things, right?

Some things I will buy before the baby is born, and some I will buy after...once I know if we have a girl or a boy.  If it's a girl we will definitely need a few more florals!  Here are a few things I love:

1. A new nursing pillow and cute cover.  This item is all for me, so I think I'm going to go with a pretty print to make me happy during allll those feedings.  Boppy pillow cover from Iviebaby.

2. A custom made stuffed animal.  These can be tailored to suit a boy or a girl.  So cute!  From Oh Just Dandy.

3. A new baby journal to document the pregnancy, birth and first year milestones.  Baby book by Illustries.

4. Custom art for the nursery.  I love these floral letters for a girl (E is not the initial of the name we have chosen, by the way).  Printable letter art from Iviebaby.  If we have another boy, he will likely get a bike print like Ari's. 

5. New muslin blanket swaddles.  I love these gender neutral printed ones from Oh Joy! for Target. 

6. A few new sleepers.  These organic cotton ones from Parade Organics Baby Co. are so soft. 

7. New burp cloths that are pretty enough to take out in public.  These handmade ones from Raenne were on a great sale, so I grabbed a few (plus some other goodies from her shop!)

8. Floral sheets, if it's a girl.  If we have another boy I think the ones we have will suffice.  I like this summery print from LouLouMade. 

It's so great that all of the other major purchases for a baby are taken care of!  No need to buy nursery furniture, car seat, stroller, swing, or baby carriers.  How great!
