How to Give Tired Containers a Late Season Tune Up
As I posted yesterday, I spent a bit of time "tuning up" my garden this weekend. Mostly this involved some deadheading and pruning back stragglers and dried parts to tidy things up. This article from Canadian Gardening provides a detailed checklist of what you can do to keep your containers going into the fall. I like the idea of replacing spent summer annuals with fall bloomers such as kale, asters, pansies and chrysanthemums!
