Holiday in Mexico

We just got home from a perfectly warm and relaxing holiday in Bucerias, Mexico.  I thought I would share a few photos from our holiday with you...

Bucerias is a town close to Puerto Vallarta on the Bay of Banderas.  We stayed in a condo rental (VRBO.com) with my parents, my sister and her baby boy who is 6 days older than Ari!  It was so great to stay with family so that we could leave Ari for a few hours here and there to enjoy the beach and going out to restaurants without the baby...a real treat!

One of the highlights of the trip was a taco tour in Puerto Vallarta with Vallarta Eats.  It was four hours of gastro heaven!  I think we had about 8 or 10 tacos in that time and an amazing homemade strawberry popsicle.  The tour also took you around old Vallarta and our guide, Ana, was incredibly friendly and knowledgable.

I also enjoyed shopping in the markets for things to bring home.  The ceramics were so pretty and Ari ended up with a few baby sized ponchos!

We had mostly great weather during our stay.  Two days of warm rain didn't keep us from getting out and enjoying walking uptown.  I was glad that I packed my umbrella!

Mexico is beautiful!  I loved the old world charm, colour and flowers that were everywhere.  It was my first time visiting and I already know I want to go back again!
