I know it's only Thursday, but I am busy packing up our camping gear so that we can get on the road early in the day tomorrow. So here is Friday's post one day in advance.
We are headed off to Calgary and Yoho National Park for a couple of days to enjoy the Body Worlds exhibit in Calgary (P. has been begging to go for awhile already as he studied anatomy in depth while training in massage therapy) and to take in the mountain scenery through fantastic hikes--hopefully as amazing as the photo above!!
Seeing:
our 'adopted' siamese kitty (from my sister who is moving away and couldn't take him along), Kingston, make himself right at home
Hearing:
a warfare-esque thunderstorm--the thunder heightened by the marvelous lightning--you can't buy that kind of entertainment!
Tasting:
some marvelous tempranilllo wine from Spain
Smelling:
the earthy smell of when it just begins to rain
Feeling:
really excited about our weekend getaway!
