Maris is 8 Months

Hooray!  We are eight months old today!  It's hard to believe.  The last month was pretty much a blur because we went through a major sleep regression and I have been beyond exhausted from lack of sleep!  Here's hoping the next month brings more rest for all of us.

Some highlights from the last month:

We'll never forget: Ari calling for 'help'! from the living room when Mama was working in the kitchen.  I went to see what he needed and you had him pinned down on the floor, laughing!  He didn't know what to do!

You can:  Crawl forwards and pull yourself up to standing if you have the right help.  This pleases you very much.

You love:  Playing cars and ball with your brother.  In fact, you are so fierce with the ball that I believe you will make one competitive sports player one day!

You don't like:  Sleeping anymore.  I want my old baby's habits back!

This was probably the most difficult month to photograph so far -- we are dealing with a cold and Maris just wasn't interested in smiling for the camera this time around!
