January in Review

I don't know about you, but as much as I love Christmas, I love cleaning it all up even more.  January always feels like a great time to organize, declutter and start fresh with everything.  Now, as the month comes to a close I thought I'd share how we filled our time.

Being a long winter month, we have spent countless hours playing together and watching TV in our basement.  These two are really starting to bond, and it's so fun to watch!

We like to take little outings to the event centre in town, where there is an indoor play structure and the fossil museum, which Ari loves!

I bought Ari a paint with water book and he has been enjoying this new activity.  He hasn't had too much interest in arts and crafts, so I like trying to encourage it now and then.  

We did some baking, and Ari loves licking off the beaters (just like I did when I was little!)...Maris has not been so keen on trying new foods...HA!

Maris and I have continued our 'Mommy and Me' postnatal fitness classes.

Both children have been so, so busy playing with new toys from Christmas.  And, we've been wearing our p.j.'s all day long more often than I should say!

Another winter month is done, and I hope the remaining ones fly by quickly.  I think we are all looking forward to warmer weather so we can enjoy being outside more often.
