After having a potluck picnic in the park with our church group yesterday I was thinking that it would be nice to have a go-to picnic blanket on hand for such occasions! This one, from Almost Makes Perfect blog, is great because it looks super simple to make, and is made from a canvas drop cloth, so you wouldn't need to worry too much about getting it dirty. I really like the modern triangle stamping technique that Molly created using a potato and acrylic paint. There are a few weeks left in summer....and hopefully more opportunities for picnics!
