Tweed Ride

Earlier this month my husband and I took part in the first annual "Tweed Ride" in our area!

It was a fun afternoon - how often do you get to dress up in vintage clothes and ride around town on old bikes?   And with a group of others like you??  Not too often.  

Everyone took their outfits and rides very seriously....

There were even prizes for the best dressed lad, best dressed lass, and best bike!  The gentleman with the penny farthing bike took his category with a landslide.

I was lucky enough to catch the best dressed lass prize!

Looking forward to next year's ride!  It was a great turn out for being the first annual event!
