In the Garden: Coming Together

The garden is finally beginning to feel like it is coming together.  Today I had a chance to plant the last of my kitchen garden - seeding lettuce and spinach.  I also was able to get a hoe into my front garden, which was finally dry enough from all of our recent rain and was in desperate need of a good weeding.

Dirty feet = a good garden!

I also picked up a beautiful salmon coloured begonia this week and put it in a blue pot on a minty vintage folding chair to brighten up a shady corner of the yard.  

We also had our first lawn care application today - hopefully by the end of summer our lawn will be weed-free and lush!
