Holiday Bucket List.

Now that it is November and we have had a beautiful first snow I am feeling in the Christmas mood!  Since winter is soooo looooong here, I've decided to make a holiday bucket list, and another winter bucket list in January...because those are always the hardest months!

Here goes - an anticipation list towards my favourite holiday of the year!

  • Host a party
  • Pick out a fresh Christmas tree
  • Decorate the house (inside and out) for Christmas
  • Plant an amaryllis or paperwhites
  • Bake cookies
  • Bring treats to the neighbours
  • Look at Christmas lights
  • Watch my traditional favourite Christmas movies
  • Take time to enjoy gift shopping and wrapping
  • Listen to all of my favourite Christmas music, and maybe find a new album or two
  • Drink lots of tea and try out Starbucks' seasonal coffees
  • Pack a shoebox to send away
  • Try out fun Christmas gathering games like these
  • Convince my husband to do the "12 Dates of Christmas" idea
  • Go out snowshoeing or cross country skiing, if there is enough snow!
  • Enjoy celebrating the season with friends and family for its real reason

Looks like I will be busy over the next two months!
