Some striped inspiration.

I am soooon on holidays and am taking on yet another painting project in my house!

My living room is currently a blah shade of beige and needs a bit of a lift...

Through the process of pinning I've come to realize that I am drawn to wide horizontal stripes...so that settles the big decision on how to redecorate!

I'm planning to paint wide dove grey and off-white stripes on two walls and solid grey on the others.  The shade of grey I'm going for is much like this one:
