The fall garden.

Fall is nearly upon us and you may be thinking that your colourful summer garden is finished...

It doesn't have to be that way! There are many fantastic fall-blooming annuals and perennials that can be added into your garden (even now!) to keep the colour going through the autumn.

Late blooming perennials:

purple coneflower, black eyed susans, joe pye weed, prairie blazing star, sedum varieties, michaelmas daisy, sneezeweed, false sunflower, russian sage, culver's root, and many more

Ornamental grasses:

feather reed grass, switch grass, fountain grass, and more

Shrubs:

scotch heather, blue mist spirea, hydrangea varieties

Fill in the gaps in your garden with fall annuals such as chrysanthemums (pictured above), pansies, and ornamental kale (pictured below).

Revive your tired looking containers with mexican feather grass, african daisies, snapdragons, and creeping jenny.
