My bee's balm (bergamot) is blooming for the first time
My Annabelle hydrangea bush has doubled in size since planting it last spring and is now in bloom
My lily patch finally looks like a lily patch: the pinks and yellows mix together beautifully
My cosmos that reseeded themselves from last summer are now blooming as well in mixed pinks and white
The daylilies I transplanted from the front of the house to the backyard are also now blooming
The kitchen garden is progressing too! The Manitoba tomato plant has oodles of fruit hanging from it already
Recall the cucumber plant bloom I posted in the last Five Senses Friday? This is the same cucumber today--it is hard to believe!!
A $1 teapot from the local thrift store is repurposed into a vintage vase to hold a bouquet of mixed snapdragons picked from the kitchen garden
Everything has progressed so much in the last couple of days. It's amazing how much and how rapidly a garden transforms itself throughout the season. Thank you so much to Grandpa M. who bicycled across town to water my garden while we were at the festival!!
