Flowers on my Feet

The weather here has been cloudy, rainy, dreadful. I have been stuck indoors for several days now and am growing tired of the gloom. Other than working on a makeover of my basement laundry room, I have been spending too much time browsing on Etsy for my own good...but there's nothing wrong with that, is there?

I have found some gorgeous garden-inspired accessories to indulge myself...

These handmade tiger lily moccasins by the Darlingtonia Moccasin Co. are, quite literally, darling! I have been wanting to buy myself moccasins for awhile now, and these are like none other. My warm feet will remind me of a summer garden all winter long!



This golden brass leaf ring by Cloud Cuckoo Land also grabbed my attention for its simple, yet beautifully organic design. A lovely reminder of nature on your finger.



My laundry room makeover has also inspired my thoughts about artwork. I've noticed so many people selling simple photography of pretty flowers on Etsy under art tags. This got me thinking that I could turn my photos from the blog into budget artwork for my walls....a couple dollar store frames and I've got a bright and cheery collection of art made by me.
