I have been trying to decide whether or not to work on "renovating" my perennial garden this fall. I drive past two local greenhouses every day on my drive to work and they are both advertising shrub and perennial sales right now. I love a good sale, and fall is a great time to plant, but my planting ideas are still a little unorganized in my brain - and I want to be sure before I buy :)
I love my sea of coneflowers in one part of my perennial bed. I've been thinking of building another sea in the part that's bothering me right now. I love how the coneflowers are mixed together with grasses in the picture above; it's a very natural looking prairie garden.
What should I do?
