The weather has been absolutely beautiful (finally!) and I was able to begin planting this weekend! I splurged and bought myself a large limestone container for my front door...then
had so much fun choosing plants to fill it with at the greenhouse.
I planted 9 plants into this container: 1 purple fountain grass, 3 'Bright Carmine' argyranthemum, 2 'Diamond Frost' euphorbia, 2 'Silver Falls' dichondra, and 1 'Callie Coral Pink' calibrachoa (pictured below).
I think this one large container makes more of a statement (especially once the grass grows taller and the other plants fill out) than the mix of smaller containers I used to always put on the front steps...and should need less watering!
